Family Vacation

My parents have access to a time share and needed some help using the points that are going to expire this year.  So we decided we needed to work on establishing our family having a vacation every year for just our little family with no one to see or no other reason for going somewhere.  It was wonderful!

 We got a 2 bedroom condo in Tyler, Texas (about a 3 hour drive).  The condo we were placed in was just up the hill from the lake.

 I don't know why but I think this is my favorite picture of the whole trip and I took it with my cell phone.  Just a little bit of heaven, hanging out with Daddy.  (Christina stayed back with Ethan while he napped)

 Texas is going through a very bad drought this year.  This was a loading dock for boats.

 Here's the condo we stayed in--

 One night as we were out walking, we went past the cleaning station for fisherman.  No, we didn't catch that fish but it was fun to take a picture with it.  They caught another one that was even bigger that they were in the process of cutting up.

 Amanda couldn't get enough of the fish and one of the fisherman let Daniel and Amanda help them clean the fish.

 We went to a children's museum there too.  This is another one of my favorite pictures.  Maybe two future doctors in the family?

It was hard to go back to the craziness of it all after a week of heaven.
