Daniel

Daniel had an exciting time this past weekend. He closed the door on his finger--TWICE!!! The first one was on Saturday. He did a pretty good number on it--it was bruised all the way around the top of his middle finger. Uncle Jake was up that night and looked at it and was telling us it may get big enough we may have to pop it to release the pressure. Sunday morning, Daniel attempted that but wasn't successful. I guess it's cool if you're a boy to poke your finger with a pin?

Sunday after our Stake Conference (we got to have Pres. Monson talk with us :) ), we ate lunch and Clay went home teaching. While we were cleaning up, I asked Daniel to take the trash out for us and he got the same finger AGAIN!!! Needless to say, we won't have to pop it. His fingernail is already half of when we looked at it that night. These pictures are about 6 hours after.


A little lesson we learned--plastic wrap is great for using on bleeding fingers. The blood doesn't stick to it, so when it stops bleeding, you can take it off and the clot doesn't get pulled off. Thank goodness for daddy's knowledge. :)
