Amanda's 5th Birthday

Yesterday was Amanda's 5th birthday. She had a Cinderella Birthday party. Here she is getting ready for the party. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time for her hair to dry so the curls didn't stay. We played several games, one of which was pass the glass (sparkly) slipper. The girls had a lot of fun playing this game. Who ever was holding the shoe when the clock struck 12, sat in the middle holding an old shoe for the next round.
Here's Amanda, passing the slipper to her friend Sidney who shares a birthday with Amanda (just a year younger).

Here's Amanda with her Cinderella cake.

Singing "Happy Birthday."

Eating cake & ice cream.
We made play dough and had the girls add stardust (glitter). They had a "ball" playing with their play dough.

Thanks for your help Christina! We are so blessed to have Amanda in our family. She is so fun and has such a contagious laugh. I love her determination and friendliness. It always amazes me how she can meet someone in a store and strikes up a conversation with them and before we leave, we give them a hug. She is such a good help, especially with her little sister who is anxious to follow her lead. We love you Amanda!

Happy, Happy Birthday little Miss. Amanda!

The party looks like so much fun and I love the idea of playing with play dough! I will have to put that idea into my long term memory..
