Hotness

It's been so incredibly hot here this summer.  I'm grateful for the break from the heat I got during my trip.

Today is number 80.  As in 80 straight days of temperatures of 100 or more.  Some times it seems like a lot more.  And not any rain to speak of.

All this combined, and the air is filled with smoke and gunk almost everyday.  Today is really bad.  It's no wonder allergies are even worse than normal for everyone.  Almost everyday when we're out running errands, we see smoke.  A few times closer than we would like.

But tomorrow that's supposed to change.  I'm praying it will anyway.  I want to go outside and hike.  Go for walks with my hubby.  Take the kids to the park.  Without breaking a sweat just walking out the door.
